The Association of Professional Engineers of Prince Edward Island (A.P.E.P.E.I.) administers the Engineering Profession Act. All persons registered as Members under the provisions of the Act constitute the body of the Association. The objectives of the A.P.E.P.E.I. are: To regulate the practice of engineering and to govern the profession in accordance with the Engineering Profession Act and it's by-laws. To promote and improve the proficiency of Professional Engineers in all matters relating to the profession of engineering. To assure the general public of proficiency and competency of Professional Engineers in the practice of engineering. To develop, establish and maintain standards of professional ethics for the profession. To promote public awareness of the role of the Association. To do all such other matters and things as may be necessary for or incidental or conductive to the welfare of Professional Engineers and their usefulness to the public.
